Vinmanmek Mansion Bangkok - Located at the back of the National Assembly Ratchawithi Road, Mansion Vimanmek Mansion is the world's largest building made entirely of golden teak wood. Moved from Ko Sichang in Chonburi province, was rebuilt in the Dusit Palace in 1900 on the orders of King Rama V. The recently renovated by HM Queen Sirikit, and made into a museum to pay tribute to the King earlier.

Here you can see a variety of antique furniture, glasses of glass, porcelain, old photographs and memorabilia from the King's reign (1868-1910). Many of the rooms are still maintaining the feel and atmosphere of the past.
A tour is provided to visitors. Most of the buildings in the complex is now used as a museum. The most famous is Abhisek Dusit Hall, which exhibits a collection of HM Queen Sirikit of craft made by rural people. Other rooms display various items and objects of art including photography of HM King Bhumibol who, fixtures rank and portraits, old-fashioned cloth, clock, and the royal train. Part of Vimanmek still used for various state functions and receptions for visiting royalty when the building is closed to the public. Thai traditional dance starts every day at 10:30 and 14:00.

Hours: 08:30 to 16:30 (Tuesday - Saturday, last ticket at 15:30)
Location: Road Rajavithee. Close to Dusit Zoo Dusit Palace complex.
Ticket Price: 100 baht, which gives you access to get into every building and galleries. Note that you will need to show the ticket to the attendant at the entrance of each building.
Please note: No shorts or a sleeveless shirt and skirt must be at least knee-length or you will not be allowed to enter
