Ueno Park is
a large park, located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Was formerly the site of a
former Kan'ei-ji, a temple closely associated with the Tokugawa Shogun, who
built the temple to guard Edo Castle, then regarded as a misfortune. The temple
was then destroyed during the Boshin War. Ueno Park was established through a
grant of land empire by Emperor Taisho in 1924. Its official name is the park
Ueno Onshi Koen, translated as "Gift of Imperial Ueno Park".

stands a statue of the famous of Saigo Takamori along a dog. This story is
legendary in the State of Japan, associated with the loyalty of a dog to his
